    Tub Rack Frustration
Soo, I made my rack like.. 6-7 months ago.

I had it set up so the top 4 shelves would fit 32q sterilite and 15q sterilite.

I have been super lazy about putting new tubs in (the ones I had were not the ones made for the rack, so they fit funny and are weird to clean).
So I go out today, and buy 4 new 16q tubs.. and they looked just like the 15q tubs, (and I wasn't really thinking about the quart size when I grabbed them.)

Turns out, every type of tub in the top four of my shelves has been discontinued.. and the 'new versions' are much too tall.. Great.. thick melamine rack thats 4 ft long.

So, that's my dilemma. I doubt anyone will have a solution other than take the rack apart and do it again.. (I've already had to rebuild this thing once..)

Seriously, is there a thick plastic I can make racks out of that would not be nearly as heavy and obnoxious.. and permanent..

Not that Ive ever heard of, unless you want to fork over some more money and just by one. From what I can tell your best bet would be to just take it apart and respace your shelve for the tubs you have..
good luck, and maybe someone else will chime in with some more helpful info.

TARGET! TARGET! TARGET! I had the same problem. They now make the same tubs except they are latch tubs but all you have to do is pop off the clips. Just then you can't house any super small snakes like cornsnakes or kenyan sand boas.

I have some of those tubs, and they fit, but I need to be housing corn snakes.. so that doesn't really work for me..

    I went to Target.

I found some similar tubs to the sterlite 6qt at Home Depot. They looked identical, but were a little thinner. Those might work for you.

Now the trick is to find who is selling them....
