first time breeding

Hi, this is our first time trying to breed our nomal male who is 3 years old and our normal female who is 10 years old. We havent had any luck at all. We have been putting the male in for three days and then taking him out for three days but no action is going on. Is the anything else we should be doing or could try?

Do you have any other males? If so try and get a sperm plug out of him and you could wipe a little of it over the girls back.(dont do this with the same male, do it with a different one) It makes the one you want to breed feel like he needs to prove him self. Did you QT and cycle properly???? How long have you had the snakes????
