Be a man and reach in their and put his hide back in, but first you might want to put a leather glove on. How long have you had your BP, Ive never seen one that aggressive, unless it young and nippy or possibly when its about to shed.

Can you remove him from the tank? How old is he? Has he laways been ike this? How often do you handle him? These snakes need to be handled on a regular basis to ensure they stay familiar with you and feel comfortable with you. I spend, on the average, 8 hours a day in my Herp room so my snakes are always exposed to me and are not afraid when I am in their cages and handling them. Just make sure your snake knows you and gets comfortable with you. Remember, the more time you spend with him the more comfortable your snake is going to feel around you.

They can also get the way if they are ready to lay eggs. ;)

He's getting used to his new digs and is exploring. Keep in mind he is probably stressed and just wants to get his wits sorted about himself. Give him time to get adjusted. About a week is good. After that you can start handling him with increased frequency. he will come around, trust me. he just has to get used to you first.

If hes new hes stressed out, they do have a tendency to move around a lot when put into a new cage, mine tore down the thermometer when i first got her. Your gonna have to secure it real good, and get that hide back in their and let her settle down before you start handling her.
