    so, i got my new BP today, i was wondering if its ok if i open the cage and try to move the hide back i need to check the heat pad temp he moved the thermometer so i need to use the sticky thing and stick it on the heatpad, is it ok?

    Yes it is ok to disturb the snake a little bit to check husbandry and fix up/clean the cage, just no excessive handling to play around with the snake for the first week.
