What are your current temps? Rhacs only require normal room temperature, or temps between 68-78 degrees.

I live in oklahoma and temps vary from night and day drasticly. It can get down to 60 at night and 80 during the day. I am trying to incubate eggs and set my incubator up before my females started laying. The set up is getting to cold at night and I tried a heating pad only to find it gets to hot.

Any thermostat from www.reptilebasics.com should work just fine:D

If you need a thermostat for an incubator, I'd get a proportional one. The Helix model Rich sells is a good choice, as well as the Herpstat models sold by Spyder Robotics.

Yep, definitely use a thermostat for any heat source you use with your cresteds because temperatures over 80 can be fatal. Try a uth hooked up to a thermostat that comes on if temps get below 68 and you should be fine.
