    Oh sure :)

    Some keepers only use them.

    You'll probably sleep better with a Johnson, Ranco, Helix, or Spyder Robotics...

    Get a second UTH on a thermostat and set it at a low temperature.

    OR

    Get a heat lamp/ceramic heating element. Be prepared though to battle humidity.

    i have heat lamp, will 1 heat lamp with lamp dimmer be enough to hold it off instead of have a UTH

    Yeah that works also. Just make sure it is on a lamp dimmer so it doesn't get too hot and eat too much humidity.

    I have used hte reptitemp 500R sucessfully for months. The only reason I stopped using it is because I got a johnson controls one and used the reptitemp for quarantine.

    like if i put the heat lamp on the cage durning the day and at night switched it to the UTH, will this work out?

    No, you leave them both on. You could get a ceramic heat emmiter (CHE) for the cage. Those don't give off light, just heat. Or you can get a red light or moonlight bulb so it doesn't bother your snake at night.
