Looking to buy another BP soon
Hey everyone I was looking to buy another bp soon was looking at jungle pastel, albino, or spider, either male or female. Also I was looking to buy the provent a mite product just for pre-caution, I currently have a normal male bp hes about 2 feet or so haven weighed him yet but was wondering if I should switch to small rats, I feed him 2 mice usually every 11 to 13 days. Also just looking for good advice from members here, also if there is any breeders or good websites to buy stuff for the snake I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

He should definitely be taking small rats by now, on a weekly basis

If you plan on getting more snakes, I suggest attempting to switch him to frozen. This way, you have more diversity as the animal grows and you can order 25 small rats at once for a lot less than 25 live small rats at a pet store.

I suggest starting with a Pastel. They're cheaper, and co-dominant so a bit less complicated with genetics and breeding. If you had an albino, you would only get hets from breeding to a normal right away.

Get prevent-a-mite just because it's handy to have around.

If you do get a new snake, quarantine it in a different room from your other snake for a couple months or so to make sure it doesn't fall ill and make your other snake ill as well.
