First Clutch of '09 and EVER!!
Have had this little beauty in my fifth grade classroom for the last three years, bred her with one of male pastels also in the classroom. Kids were super excited to watch the whole process. Came in Monday morning to her curled around three nice looking eggs:banana::banana::banana::banana:

Congratulations :gj::gj:
My biology teacher in high school had a few snakes in the classroom too! Mostly kings and milks though and a large burm.

Thats very :cool:cool!Not just because you got eggs but because you are exposing these young children to Herps and helping to educate them early.Its good to have that kind of influence on a young mind:gj:

Great lesson are they going to see them hatch to that would be real cool.
Re: First Clutch of '09 and EVER!!
Thats awesome for you and your classroom. Very impressive that you have incorporated a few, if not a ton, of snake lesson plans!
Re: First Clutch of '09 and EVER!!
I have the eggs in an incubator at home, but the kids will definitely get to see the hatchlings. I may also set up my web-cam during piping so the kids can see. The kids are responsible for care of all of our reptiles so keeping them involved is a huge part of the plan.

Im jealous, in my 5th grade class all we got to see was mealworms & guppies, it would of been an amazing experience to see something like this!
