Should I wait to buy???

Are people still buying reptiles right now or is it a good idea and wait and see what happens with this bill??

I am looking to buy 3-4 ball python morphs for future breeding but was thinking maybe its a good idea to see what happens with the bill. What do you guys think?

Good question. Personally, is has not stopped me in the slightest... I've been taking advantage of the bad economy and have bought a few really great snakes (and cages) for some good deals.
I'm following my dreams and the uncertainty of will they be banned or will the bottom fall out of this market is not going to stop me from doing what I love.

If they do get banned (and honestly I do not think they will), the prices should increase drastically... I think it's safe to say that an illegal market of reptiles would evolve and to counteract the risk of getting caught, most people would raise the prices on their now illegal snakes...

Yea true! Those big breeders would have a meltdown! They wouldn't be "allowed" to breed their snake food and they wouldn't be allowed to sell anything to help pay for all the expenses of owning the snakes! Crazy...

Good info all, I appreciate it. I kinda had the same thoughts but was unsure. I will be hopefully making a few more purchases tomorow then. I have no problem being an illegal ball python dealer! lol
