Humid Hide

Is it ok to use vermiculite as the substrate in a humid hide?

I use spagma moss it holds the water longer and its cheaper. Wal-mart where the fake flowers are.

i use vermiculite in all of mine, i've tried the coco fibre, but i find that the vermiculite is less inclined to mold, and is easier to maintain than moss...

and cheaper too. :)
