Can rocks be probed?
Ok a friend of mine has a rock and does not know the sex.He said Bob Clark told him a couple years back that you can not probe rocks.So let me know your input rock keepers and breeders :P

I would call one of the more popular breeders, hopefully they know, I don't think i've ran across anybody on the site that has a rock python.

i don't know rocks at all, but i do know that rocks and burms are closely related and pretty much all boids are relatively similar. other than those that have fragile spines as neonates, i've never heard of not being able to probe a boid. rocks definitely don't strike me as fragile either!

See i have never heard of any snake being unable to be probed.I think the person might have misunderstood Mr. Clark.I will add any info when i get it.

or maybe he was just too lazy to probe the snake so he said it couldn't be done? i've heard worse from people that know better...

Nope, can't probe any of em.
I've tried granite, malachite, diamond, quartz, limestone, sandstone, shale, marble and several other generic rocks and none of them were probable.
Joe, you do know that rocks, as a rule, are fairly solid objects, right?
