    Whoooooo!!More babies!!!
    My first litter of 3 died from there mothers neglect. BUt now I have 2 females that just burst today. Some where around 24 babies. I still have 3 more moms that should drop any day now and 3 more that are getting buldge. Ill but up to my ears in rats soon. It didnt even take that long, this is Awsome!!!

    I could never get mine to give birth close together. They are always a week diff. Oh well at least I get a steady supply of differant sizes. Mine should have more in a week or so:)

    i wish mine seem to all give birth in the same week or so it seems

    They look like nice sized pinks and I can see milksbands so momma rat is doing her job well. :) Just watch with multiple females birthing in the same enclosure that you don't start getting a lot of pinky stealing going on. Sometimes it works out well but other times you end up losing a lot of them due to the mother's hauling at them and doing a tug of war thing which rips the pinky's delicate skin. The other issue I had recently was with two new moms in one big enclosure. There was tons of room but one of the moms was determined to have every pink under her. She kept stealing them from the other rat but sadly she was smothering some of them because she was piling them too deep under her belly. Stuff like this often happens with inexperienced momma rats.
