    Spider to Reduced Normal ?'ss
so once my male spider and reduced patterned female are of age and size im goin to be pairing them up.

my spider also pretty much has no white on him, is high gold and pattern seems to be pretty broken up and thin as well.

so my hopes are to get a high gold spider with a super reduced pattern if thats possible.

so how likely will a reduced pattern be passed down to the spider(s) and normals as well?

and seeing that my spider does not have white sides, is that a genetic trait as well? or can spiders in the same clutch have high and low whites?

I will get some pictures of them both up soon.

I think it would depend on whether or not the female is a genetic reduced pattern, I know Ralph Davis produces genetic ones but I'm there are plenty that aren't.

This girl just ovulated from being bred to my spider:

and this girl is being paired with my bee and spider:

so I should see what hatches in a few months.

You bred to a somewhat reduced female last year and produced some smoking spiders!

That's true.. I can say that I bred a high white spider to a reduced female and got a mix of both Super high white and super low white spiders out of it..

This breeding is a genetically reduced female bred to a "striped" spider. So We shall see.

There is a huge possibility one of the spiders or normals can be reduced pattern, and also the spiders could have the high gold like their parent. Usually white-sided spiders are kind of genetic in a way, so if you breed a high white spider to a normal, you can get high-white spiders maybe high-white normals too!

I bred a high white spider to a normal and got an even mix of high whites and low whites out of 8 spiders in the same clutch. The amount of white is pretty varied like the amount of white on a pied. So a low white spider can and will produce high whites just like a high white will produce lows.

The good thing is there's a spider to fit everyone's taste. :D:gj:
