    Louisiana Field Herping
The florida herping topic made me think, it would be nice to put something together with some louisiana herpers to go try to see what we can find, maybe keep, or help if something out there needs it. I live on the north shore, so it would be more southeastern louisiana, but if you are interested in coming from beyond that, you're more then welcome.

Neal....I will be out in the woods every weekend.

I live in Pearl River. I go strolling in the Pearl River Management area all the time. Herping on state land give alot of area to look around and photograph some animals.

In May, I plan on riding to North Louisiana to stay at our hunting camp to do some herping on a couple of the weekends.

This was from last weekend up in North Louisiana:

Just let me know a few days in advance and we could go check some stuff out. There are a few state wildlife areas I have been wanting to go scope out and if you have any good sites, I am all for it.

I lived in Lafayette when I was a kid. I saw more cool reptiles during my 5 years there than the entire rest of my life.

I miss alligators. Minnesota needs more reptiles :(

Sounds good to me, I work 10pm-6am Friday-Tuesday. I'm off Wednesday & Thursday, when do you work so we can try to figure out some kind of schedule and plan something?

I work 8-5 during the week so for a good herping trip I am only free on the weekends.

Shoot me an email at daniel@odatria.com and we can set something up.
