IS this cage suitable for a tegu?

Would an adult female Argentine tegu live fine in a 5ft x 30" cage? She would be out a lot. Kind of like a puppy except for she needs uvb and heat.Lol.

Normally I say larger. An adult will be nearly as long as the cage, so it would be a little cramped.

I thought adult females average out at about 3ft?

Adult females typically average around 3 1/2 ft. You could probably get away with 6x3x3 ft. but I always recommend something larger. The 8x3x3 would be more suited for her. 30" wide is not enough.
