Female with sperm plugs?

I felt brave this mourning so i thought i'd try popping my new "female". when i did i got a sperm plug from both sides. I can't see the peans for sure ( i didn't want to squeeze real hard my first time) but i think i've been fooled again.

Are you sure they were sperm plugs and not just some left over vent shed. Alot of people don't relize that when they shed there is a small amount of skin just inside the vent that also sheds. Sometimes this doen't get removed and can remain behind. I have many times seen dead skin evert when an animal is poped. It can be tricky.

Then again to might have a male on your hands.

Oh dear :weirdface, had it happen to me bought him as a male, then had someone pop him and told he was a she, then later on found a sperm plug attached to shed, and it was a plug. In the end I'm happy :)

Thats what i considered when the first one came then i got a second and got suspicious, so I started looking at google pics and here on the forum. If they aren't plugs I'm a monkeys uncle. I didn't get her/him/it from a stand up shop at all, so I'm not surprised, but I'm not stoked to have 3 normal males.

I tried to take a pic but my camera won't focus. So I'll describe them. One end is kinda dried looking tan color about 1/4 down then it turns white and tapers to the end. Sound About right?

Sounds like a sperm plug to me.

Don't feel bad I bought a male like 5-6 years ago as a pet from a pet shop.. He's scheduled to lay eggs in about 30 days. LOL

Yeah I guess I got more choices now for when I get a female and decide if i want to start breeding. I guess it's not all bad.

The same exact thing happened to me. I bought a "female" from a breeder friend, turns out I have a 900 gram normal male.... there go my breeding plans for next season. I popped "her" when I first got "her" and saw no penes, but a couple weeks ago I pulled sperm plugs for "her". It totally stinks.
