    Is this normal?
I've had my baby ball python for only 6 days now. He'd occasionally poke around his home and then go into his hide. Well, as of tonight (being around 2 in the morning) he has been constantly poking around, accidentally knocking down my accurite thermo/hydro meters (is there a way to safely secure them without falling?) and I can hear him scooting amongst the fake plants and whatnot. Now, I'm probably being paranoid while he has his little 'party' and I'm really sick so It's hard for me to fall asleep anyway, but I never seen him act so active..

He may be looking for food. The activity is nothing to worry about, just normal behavior.

They are nocturnal, so this is normal. Try the velcro circle discs to attach the accurite

Ya my 4 year old BP still cruises the cage on a regular basis at night time. Throw some climbing logs in the tank if you want. Mine seems to really like them!
