Photo Request- User Created Moprh Collection

I am an avid ball python enthusiast. Like many others, I am amazed at all of the outstanding photos other ball python enthusiast have taken and shared online. For a few years now I have been collecting photos of all the different morphs and combos out there. Various breeders’ websites showcasing all of the morphs they have/are working with do exist, but these are all exclusive to each individual’s breeder’s collection, not to mention they are all outdated.

What I hope to do is start a free community created website where all enthusiasts can go to see all the awesome morphs created to date, showcasing animals from many different breeders and keepers. And do it all in one place. I intend to limit each morph to one photo and a brief description. Along with a brief description I intend to give full credit to the owner of the animal and the photographer. I want this site to be a free tool showcasing the works of many different people in the hobby, not a select few. I feel the more people that participate the better this could be.

I feel the community would love a site like this, I know I would. Especially, one that is created to show a single “best example” of every morph. One that showcases a wide array of animals created and photographed by various hobbyists. I believe, if done right, this could be a very useful tool for the photographers and producers of the pictured animals to draw attention to them and their businesses as well. Most importantly, I know that the community would love to finally have a professionally created site showcasing all of the morphs out there, especially one that is user created and is not the work of a sole breeder/ keeper.

I have absolutely no intentions of creating another forum or making any money from this idea, and as stated above my only intention is to help create a nice online photo collection of all the ball morphs that is free to everyone to enjoy, and showcases animals from various sources rather than a single collection.

For those interested the site, obviously not finished yet, will be set up w/ this http://s3.envato.com/files/38186/adWall3DFull.html gallery on its own dedicated site. Each initial photo will be a base morph along with a small description and credit line. These photos will all open up to pages containing the combos of that morph. IE Pastel will be in the main page which links to a page containing super pastel, bumble bee, lemon blast, pastave, etc etc.

Again full credit will be given to the photographer, and the photo will only be used to show others the beauty of the particular morph in what I hope will become the largest single photo collection of the various morphs and combos. With enough participation this will become the ultimate resource for photo examples of ball python morphs for all to enjoy.
