Light Box Take 2 (Much Better)
I made a bigger improved light box tonight than the small one I tested with this morning. I'm very happy with how it turned out. Getting the snakes to work with me was another story. Sorcha was a brat, but Webster was mellow as can be.

Awesome pics Rich! They are both looking great. :gj:

Hint, Put a cold large bowl from the fridge over the snake for a few minutes. Cool them down and make them less likely to move a bunch. ;)

    Thanks Connie :)

Yea I'm gonna try that, but I literally finished it and put a snake in there to try it out like 10 minutes ago.

I like shadows in some shots, but if that wasnt what you were aiming for, adding lights to the sides will brighten everything up and give you that snake floating in the white abyss look...pretty cool.

You really should, its very much worth the effort in assembling it. I spent $30 bucks on the light but everything else I had around the house.

I like the way the first 2 came out but I took them without the flash so they had more shadows than the others. I'm definitely going to mess with it some more since I have the openings on the sides for more lights. Reading my camera manual as well should help a bit. Thanks for the advice, I love floating in the abyss :D
