So now that I'm getting a Kahl Sunglow girl, what should I pick up to breed her to?

At the end of May I will be the proud owner of an 08 1/8th Suri Kahl Sunglow female and I'm still not sure what I want to breed her to. I want color so I've decided not to do anery and go for snow hets. I already spent more than I expected for the female but I have about a $500 limit for the male so another Sunglow is out, plus I want a little variety.

I'm thinking 3 things.

1- Buy an 09 DH Sunglow male and next year make Salmons, Super Salmons, Albinos and Sunglows.

2- Buy an 09 Salmon Pastel male and next year make Salmons, Super Salmons, Salmon Pastels and Super Salmon Pastels all 100% het for kahl. Not sure what influence the Pastel would have on any future sunglows though so I need to do more research on that front. I don't want the color to get too washed out for future Sunglows.

3- Buy another Kahl and make all albinos and Sunglows.

In a perfect world I'd like to find a DH Sunglow Pastel but from a good breeder that'd be more than I want to spend. I'd also really like to get the male from Jimisnakes since he put up with about 20 emails from me in 2 days and also hooked me up with Mike from Basically Boas to get my female in the first place.

The albino x sunglow cluth sounds the best to me . I am all about the visual albino vs the dh sunglows. Here is a pic of my Kahl sunglow female that will be ready next year. I am going to breed her to my albino arabesque male to get sunglow arabesque. I purchased a sunglow arab female last year. She is amazing her color is better than most ive seen, she just lost alot of the arab pattern with the hypo gene.

I'm still not sure. I've seen some really nice Salmon Pastel pics and I really really like the way those look... I just like variety and I'm not sure yet if I want all Sunglows and Albinos although, again, it would be a really great litter from a monetary standpoint although I am not in this thinking I can make a bunch of money(would be a nice added bonus). Maybe just a DH coral sunglow and buy a third girl(pastel) for mixing in the pastel gene myself later?

Plus I think that if I pick up a really clean salmon or salmon pastel male she would throw out some WICKED hypos. From the Basically Boas ad: "She is from breeding an Orangetail DH Sunglow X 25% Suriname Het Albino."

A 4th option would be to pick up a pastel male 100% het albino(coral preferably) and that is pastel sunglows right off the bat for cheap, just no supers. I saw what a DH Sunglow Pastel male costs on the Boaphile, cheapest one he had was very faded and still $750 lol. The good ones were $1300-$1500. I have no doubt they are worth it, I've just already spent alot on the girl.

I think what I need to do is take a week off from trying to decide what I want 2 years in the future and concentrate on getting ready for the animals I WILL be getting for sure this summer lol.

Anery het albino or Ghost het albino....Snows and Moonglows baby!

I don't like snows and moonglows, already ruled that one out.

Well I'm picking up an 08 Anery 66% albino(from jimi) female too and will get 2 males when the 09s drop to pair up with the girls when they are big enough. I still don't like snows or moonglows too much but the option is there, although I think I'm going to start a ghost project with the anery.
