    Relationship of breeders
Okay I found a girl that is 2 hours away that has regular fancy rats that she will sell me for $3.50 a piece which is better than the $5 the other quoted.
But she has litters from two different females but the same male so I was curious would I have to find someone else with unrelated males or could I get males from her and just breed to opposite mom litters.
I am not sure how that all works so I wanted to run it past you guys so that I know what I am doing in this area also.

I hope you all don't mind all my many questions lately.
I just need to make sure I do this right.
thanks again and really really appreciate the help.

You would be fine breeding any of them, so long as she has not been inbreeding for generations already. I would suggest starting with as much variety as possible, but if it is a big pain, then don't worry too much about it. You can always pick up another male to give you some clean holdback litters.
