    Im new to all this and i was just wondering if it is normal for my ball to hide when its light out and when night comes i have found him numerous times just sitting on top of his hide only when its dark out tho. is that just what they do?

    yes thats natural.

    just make surei ts not to hot for him in there and your temps and humidity are fine. and let him to as he pleases.

    Bps are nocturnal. Means they sleep/hide more during the day, and are active at night. From what I've read here, if your bp is regularly active during the day, he/she may be hungry, or the temp/humidity may be off.
