    checkout my new rack
just finished let me know what you think!!! oh, and i just put in the flexwatt but am having trouble getting my temp in my tubs above 80. I knew i should have got bigger tape:( but the only thing i can think of is to raise the temp on the flexwatt. so what is a safe range to put your flexwatt up to before it gets dangerous to either the snake or me???? please help!!!!! Thank you

Looks pretty good for a first rack!
Did you duct tape the accurite to the inside of the tub? I would really suggest removing it if it is tape. They will always find a way to get stuck to it.

yea i did, couldnt figure out a way to keep it upright in there. So one day i thought i would try it out and see how the snakes dealt with it. and it seemed fine. but i am getting a better thermostat and a temp gun on friday so the accurite will be outta there by friday. And thank you

well another way to set the display up would be drill 2 little holes on either side of the unit ( though the tub) and tie strap it in place. this way no worry about the snake getting the tape stuck to itself. I seen it happen. it not fun to get snake loose from tape. the hole will act as vents and also hold the display so you can read it .

Great job on your first rack. Did you cover the back of the rack? That might help hold heat in your hot side. Just a thought. Keep up the good work.

Good idea about that tie. I've also used a small strip of velcro and that works fine as well. Snakes and tape never mix.
