    RBI Rack Problem
Thought I'd see if anyone else has had this problem and, if so, how they dealt with it. I got an Iris CB-70 rack from RBI a week ago and have the following problem. RBI runs their flex tape zig-zag starting on the bottom shelf of the top tub down the side and across the bottom of the middle tub and the same for the bottom tub. What I have observed is that the middle and bottom tub are much warmer than the top tub. My guess is this is due to the middle and bottom tubs getting heat from the tape on the side and from the tape for the tub above.

When I regulate the middle and bottom tubs for ideal temp, the top tub is too cool. Anyone else experience this problem and, if so, what did you do to correct the problem?

Oh well. It may just be me and my inexperience in using the IR thermometer. I checked all the temps again and the ambient temps are all within a few degrees based on the in-tub thermometers and the IR temps of the bottom are also very close outside of the hides. I seem to get the largest variation when I measure the IR temps in the snakes hides. I can see why that may vary widely do to lack of ventilation.
