    Common to skip prelay Shed?
    Hey all,
I have heard of Balls skipping their prelay shed...but this has never happened to me, and I was curious how common this is? One of my females went blue about 2-3 weeks ago....I never got a shed?

Anyone ever have a female skip a prelay shed?

Hahhaha, that vid is hilarious! I've never heard of any snake simply not shedding once they go into blue. My guess is that she just hasn't shed yet. I do know that their prelay shed seems to take longer than a normal shed for some reason.

Pmott1....With your females that didn't shed, did they go into blue? I think this guy is saying that his snake went into blue and didn't shed (i've never heard of that happening). I know some females won't have a prelay shed before they lay.

going into blue and not shedding is actually common

i have had many that have gone to blue and back and then never shed and a week later they go blue again and then finally shed . its a double shed .

i have even heard of and seen some that have gone thru the motions and didnt shed . its just something you cant help

if the snakes ready to shed it will if not it wont , i cant explaing why it happens but it does ..
