This may sound stupid

But how often do snakes poop? That's not something the pet store put on their schedule, so I don't know what's regular for him or any snake for that matter. I've read that some snakes poop every 4-6 days, when you see the poop you know to feed. Other things said once every 2 weeks, others said once a month. Sooooooooo, in y'all's (I know I'm southern) experience, how often do they poop? I haven't seen him poop yet.......

I think with snakes it depends on how much and how often they are fed. If your feeding to much then they will more likely poop more often. But really I think it just depends on the snake. I have one girl that poops just about every week or two. And then I have another that likes to hold it. I think here record is 28 days. :O

Some of mine poo once a week, others poo every few weeks. It really depends.

Every snake drops a duce on it own time. There is no magic formula or schedule. Some of mine go weekly, and one of mine goes about ever shed or 6 weeks, which ever comes first.

You should feed on a regular schedule regardless of how often they go. Waiting to feed until after a B/M is a sure way to throw them off feed, or to underfeed them.

Just provide plenty of fresh water, and offer food on a regular schedule. They will go when they need to.

Actually I found a totally accurate way of telling when my snakes will poop. The day of, or after, that I change their paper. I am telling you, they can go two weeks without a paper change, I change it, and bam there it is all over.

well i have mine for over a month and it hasnt poop since then i feed it on a regularly schedule like slim told me and i've been doing research and i've found out that smaller snakes might take longer to poop because there digestive system is bearly developing and if it still doesnt poop you might want to take it a warm bath and 1 or 2 days later it should poop, hope this help

Mine eats tuesday, and poops sunday. The pest always loves to do it in his hide though which is a pain.

Some people seem to think that a ball python should poop once per meal. Let me ask you a question, do you poop once per meal? That would mean at least 3 times a day. Maybe I am just different... but I sure don't go that often!

Keep in mind, a snakes digestive system is much slower (also why they require less food). They really just go when they feel like it. Most of mine usually wait until they shed and then lay a big one INSIDE of the shed, which makes it nice and easy to clean up :D
