    Flexwatt?????
    i have recently been hearing that flexwatt is dangerous( melts and starts fires). And well I just ordered some and will be at my door in a couple of days. And well i was just wondering what you people that use flexwatt think about it and how well it works. and what thermostat is preferred to be used with multiple flexwatt strips??????? Please help, thank you... Much appreciated!!!!!

    Why not just continue posting in the thread you already have concerning flexwatt and thermostats, instead of flooding the forum with yet another thread... ?

    It would help people understand where you're getting the previous info or how you came up with the current question.

    In your titles, WHY do you have to use So much punctuation? I think most ppl get the point with using one

    Wow you guys are being really harsh on the guy.
    And yet no one answered the question . I would like to know the answer because i am wanting to buy the same thing.

    As far as I know, I have never heard of flexwatt being dangerous. As long as it is controlled (thermostat).

    have you seen this?
    It seems that you should be fine so long as you use a thermostat and always monitor the heat (Which you should do with any heat source)

    Lesson learned: ALWAYS DO LOTS OF RESEARCH BEFORE YOU BUY! :)

    There have been horror stories of Flexwatt. If you use proper husbandry keep an eye on it and inspect it regularly (just like you should with EVERY heat source) there should be no problems.
