YAY i didnt get bitten!!

so i have a BP (rescue) that used to snap and strike at anything that moved. but today i thought, well he hasnt done it in about a week so maby i should try again... it went GREAT! im so happy, he accually tollerated me (the giante gardening gloves helped my confidence a little lol) didnt want to freak him out too much though so i only kept him outta the tank for like 5 min.
just needed someone to gloat too, all my friends think im crazy for keeping a snake in my house. :P

good for you. but i don't think gardening gloves are necessary. a ball's bite doesn't hurt that bad :P

After the first bite you get over it pretty quick does not really hurt. But congrats and getting over the fear welcome to the addiction :salute:

Just tell them your pet has yet to pee on the floor:)

Forget to mention I have yet to be bit, but I did get bit by a mouse the other day.........can you say ouch? lol Now I don't have much of a pain tolerance but that little sucker was a sharp quick pain and bleed like a son of a gun lawl.

Yea getting bit by the food is worse then getting bit by the snake :rofl:

Glad it went well Bobbi. Use the gloves until you feel confident to do without them. Better a confident handler wearing gloves than a nervous one with bare hands, I always figure. :)

thankx everyone!! i know snake bites dont hurt that much but im a bit of a chicken and i really didnt want to risk dropping him, so the gloves were my friend lol
