    Chance of a R.I. ??
First off thanks to everyone for helping get us straight on the do's and dont's of owning a snake.
I recently moved "Spot" into his new and hopefully lifelong enclosure from the ten gallon tank that we had him in. While it's probably a touch early to move him to a bigger tank I think with enough hides and greenery (Once I get to Walmart tomorrow) he should do great. So far the temps are spot on where they should be, 92 on the hot 80 on the cold and about 82 ambient.
In the midst of moving him tonight and playing with him I can hear almost a wheezing sound coming from him. It's very faint and almost impossible to hear unless he's right up next to your ear but it still concerns me. There's none of the saliva around the mouth or any of the strange movements I hear about so i didn't know if this was normal or not.
Oh yeah he's 160 Grams and is eating adult mice.
    Thanks -Craig

Is your snake approaching or in a shed cycle? Some of them can get quite noisy when the old skin is loosening around their nostril/heat pit area. Make sure the snake's enclosure is nice and warm and keep a VERY close eye on this situation. If you have any concerns, please contact your herp vet.

Remember when you buy your plastic vines to check that there are no wires poking through the plastic and that none of the leaves pull off easily leaving points of exposed wire.

Wow. That is very interesting. I would have never thought of that!

Actually he seems to be very close to shed, he's dull and his belly is starting to get a little pink, I've bumped up the humidity in the cage and turned up the temp a touch, so I'll keep an eye on him and hope that's all it is. Thanks!!
