    Weanling vs Small
About to order feeders for my 9 month old bp. he is about to finish the last order of rat pups. I've been looking at the pictures of feeders on mousefactory and the weanlings don't look that much bigger than the pups he's been eating. I was thinking about going with the smalls. What do you guys think?? Stay on pups, move to weanlings, or move to smalls?? From what I can tell in the pictures (which is hard to tell how big around they actually are) it looks like he could handle the smalls, but I'm not sure. Like I said it's hard to tell from looking at pictures so experience would help me.

Personally I'd go with the weans. You can always feed two weanlings to get the right total prey volume as he grows but you can't make a small rat smaller if they are too big right now for him. You could split the order and get both but I'm not sure how many snakes you are feeding or what sizes they are and the amount of rats you are ordering.

Also don't hesitate to actually phone and ask for Edna. She's co-owner of that company and a really helpful, nice lady.
