If your girls aren't pregnat trade out the male. That being said my girls ovulate at differant times. I'll have one drop then 4 days later the next.My last girl dropped 2 weeks after the first of four.

Our rats don't show signs of pregnancy until about 4 days before they give birth. More than likely, you will wake up one day and they will look like they swallowed a baseball. Our girls don't always ovulate together either. Currently, we only have 4 girls in the breeding cycle, 2 pairs. One pair always births within 2 days of each other. In the other pair, one girl didn't take on the first breeding, so we gave her a different male. Those two should give us litters within a week or so, but we don't know if both took to pregnancy yet.

:O 4 days before birth! Holy cow! LOL

My girls start showing about a week into the pregnancy. Maybe I'm just more used to it.

How old are the girls? Weight? What are you feeding them?

If you can, post a couple of pics with them in different positions. ;)

I was surprised too. We notice earlier on smaller girls, but especially with Ophelia...it takes a while. Almost overnight they develop the bulge. If we actually get them out, hold them, etc, we can tell earlier, about a week, maybe a bit more, like you said. At just a glance, I don't notice until about 4 days before.

Both of those girls should be dropping within 3-4 days(tops), unless they are extremely fat. If they really are that fat normally, that might explain why you dont have pinks.
