    Why is my snake burying itself?
    Is this just in its personality or is this a sign of something? No one replied when i posted this in my last thread... so i made a new one...

    its probably looking for places to hide and it feels secure by buring itself because it touches all its sides

    Please refer to your first thread. It's only been two days, one of which is part of the weekend when traffic is slow, especially for an already slow moving section of the forum.

    Sorry i didnt even think about this, ill get some pictures up as soon as i can...
    -Brazilian Rainbow Boa (~24")
    -20 gallon long aquarium (covered on back)
    -I have 2 hides
    -the temp is around 80-85... Im not sure of my hot/cold zones because i only have one therm. At the moment
    -humidity is at 70%
    -cypress substrate
    -one 50watt daylight bulb on one end (~12 hours) and one 25 watt (taking it back for a 50 watt) blue night bulb on the other (~12 hours)

    After doing some more reading on the subject... Do you think i should cover the other other 2 sides as well?

    I haven't researched this, but I think it's normal behavior. My BRB always buries himself and prefers to do so over any hide I've tried.

    Yes to provide more security you should cover the other two sides.
