    Back Popping!
    Hey guys i thought we could start a conversation ...about Back popping.
    Poopsie sometimes likes to squeeze me wit alotta her might around my neck (I guess for digestion reasons?) but she was squeezing me and then her back popped and i thought it was so cute! Any body else got stories!?!:taz:

    Their backbone is just like ours, it has the capability to 'pop' or crack just like any joint..
    I've had unruly snakes that have flailed a bit and I felt some of their back re-adjust. I wouldn't recommend trying to do it on purpose or anything..

    She squeezes because she's a constrictor. Nothing to do with "digestion".

    +1 inorder ot eat its got to be dead first. :)

    and some times they give your hand or arm the lil squeez just to let yah know they like yah. or she wants to eat you... ur call.

    she pops her own back....well i hope she squeezes me cause she likes me cause she squeezes my neck enough to about strangle me,but she quits. I mean if she wanted to eat me she wouldnt tried by now lol!

    She squeezes you to get warmth from you and get a firm hold so she feels safe and won't fall. If she wanted to eat you she would strike and constrict.

    As for the back popping, all of mine to it just about every time I pick them up, move them, or even when they are just sitting in their tanks.

    I'm glad I read this thread.. If I ever heard my snakes back pop I would be really worried.

    I find my Ball does this after he eats and he is brewing a good poop.

    nothing to worry about. id be more worried about that birdhouse hide, it probably has nails sticking out inside and of they take a dump in it how are u going to clean that?
