    The power of smell
I lost a black pastel (male) ball python 3 days ago, and after taking my entire room apart and looking in every conceivable place, I was starting to write him off...

..but, today is feeding day, and I was very focused on making sure everyone was fed.

Now, I usually have 35+ mice in my room on feeding day, and all of a sudden the little fella is peeking around the corner of my tubs with his head extended...toward the mice.

Today I learned never to under estimate the power of smell.

Yeah, well, I care for all my ball pythons the same, whether they are valued at $25 or $5000, but when I lost him I could not help but think, ok, at least one of my most inexpensive snakes went missing, and not one of my high dollar guys. I know thats bad to think, but I did that as a way of dealing with the loss I thought I was going to take.
