Is it acurite to sex boas by the spurs near the cloaka?

Wouldn't that make life so much easier? Sadly, there is no sexual dimorphism in boids. For an accurate sex, pop or probe. :)
It's said that males have larger anal spurs, but it's not always 100% accurate. If it were, My Hog Island would be very insecure with his masculinity. :D

LOL thanks.. I was just curious because I've been to 5 websites for boas and they all say that you can sex them by the spurs so I just HAD to know...

I have heard that the spurs thing works with Dumeril's, Madagascars, and viper boas which if true would mean it would also work with New Guinea tree boa, Solomon Islands ground boas, Solomon Islands tree boas, Fiji boas, Halmahera ground boas.
