    F/T feeder prices
    Hey guys,

I have a small collection of ball pythons and don't think it would be beneficial for me to keep and breed my own feeders. So my question is...

How much do you typically pay for F/T feeder mice/rats, and where do you find the best deals?

i usually pay 12 bucks for a bag of 25 adult mice at a local reptile show. thats the best deal i have found so far. online the shipping would be way to much for me to afford.

Now that i look at your profile i see that your out of auburn. you should think about heading up to uab to the dixie reptile show. they have some really cool stuff there and they have it every month.

I do pretty good at the local reptile shows, and I have the Hampton Mousery here in town in case I need something specific. Size wise that is...comes in handy with rat pups. When your BPs are young like mine, there's a big difference between a 19 gram rat pup and a 32 gram rat pup.

I end up paying about 65 cents per rat pup on average.

I think I'm getting a bad deal cause about the best price in my home town is $1.25 per mouse...

    I pay .55 for a Jumbo f/t mouse, .85 for a pup, and $3.50 for a Jumbo Rat (400-600 gram).

They company I get my rodents from offers free shipping (for orders over $100) to most of the mid west and eastern states.
