    Scorpion Identification?
Today I got a scorpion off a reptile supplier...he didn't know much about it except that they call it a "ruby red"

It has a large tail and small pinchers, so I want to make sure that it isn't too dangerous. I can't even tell you tell you how old this guy is or if its male/female..right now its maybe 2" long. Origin unknown.

I would really appreciate identifying this species, preferably its latin name.
I have linked two pictures, sorry they aren't too clear - they were taken with my phone.

    Thanks everyone.

    That's a Babycurus Jacksoni

It's about 2.5/5 in terms of venom.

It hurts more then the usuals, but it won't put you in the hospital.

It could be either a subadult, or a female.

    My guess adult female.

If it where female it's chela(claws) Would be bulb-like or fatter. And it would have a thicker tail
