looking for clarification on specific morph of BP breeding
is the black pastel different from the cinnamon? i read that they are different somewhere and that they are the same somewhere else. if so how do i make a super black pastel?

can you breed snake relatives w/ eachother? like brothers and sisters, sons and moms ect? obviously this doesnt work to well with humans i know but i was just wondering about this.

Black pastels are very similar to cinnamons but are considered a different mutation as they do slightly different things.

To get a panda pied both parents would have to have both a black pastel and a pied gene.
For breeding a black pastel het pied to a black pastel het pied, chances are only 1 in 16 of getting a panda pied.

I do believe they are different. As for the snake in the video, they both need to be het pied.

You need a Black Pastel to make more Black Pastels. That's all there is to it :)

Yes, you can breed siblings together.

sry for the newb questions but how exactly did the first black pastel come about if theres not a certain way to breed to them? like was it just some random mutation from a pastel and a pastel? like some deformed super pastel? and now that were on that subjuct how did regualr old pastels come about? just some very rare deformation in a regular homozygous BP?

All "originals" come from animals caught in the wild.

Whoa there Phantom, lets work on some of your terms. Morphs are mutations of the Wild Type or Normal BP. They are not deformities.

Black Pastels are a base morph. The first one was caught in the wild, and then bred to a Normal, and proven Co-dominant. Same for Pastels.

You might want to take a gander at this:
