is there anything i can add to the coconut to make more thicker. like i was thinking cypress mulch
any one have any ideas or suggestions

What do you mean thicker? I know that when it drys out it can get pretty dusty, in that case just make sure you keep the moisture level up. I don't use coconut coir for my snakes, but I've used it before for frogs and toads which it works really well for.

for when it gets a little dusty plus my boa and my larger bp move it around alot.
thats why i was asking if would be ok to as cypress mulch to the mix

It's still going to get dusty when it drys out. Why not just go with pure cypress mulch? That stuff holds moisture really well.

yeah a bag of it costs like 3 bucks at home depot i have a boat load of coco fiber just want thoughts mixing the two

I don't think mixing the two will cause any problems, but I'm not sure it'll fluff the substate up the way you want.
You getting closer to buying that rack and tub set up yet?:rofl:
