i read the text, but didn't really get anything out of it. what are we mad about?

THe bill deals with our ability and rights to roadhunt on public roads and right-of-ways. A bill was passed last year that made it illegal for us to do this. HB 1500 was an amendment to have reptiles, amphibians, and insects exempted.

why do you wanna hunt reptiles on public roads?

is hunting of illegals exempted also?

It is called fieldherping.

So, they're attempting to outlaw fieldherping?

Why?

Texas is 98% privately owned property. You can not "herp" in state or federal parks. This only leaves the option of roadhunting.
