    Cage Cleaning
I'm going to get ready to clean my bp's tank, and i was wondering how other people go about doing this, and how often? I'm going to rinse mine with Dawn dish soap and dry.

I firt get the snake out and put it in a holding tub with one of the hide boxes, which I disinfect before hand.

Then I take out all the cage furniture, rinse it, and spray a chlorhexadine solution on it. You don't necessarily have to wash it off, but depending on what you're gonna use you might have to.

Then I take out the substrate, vaccuum the little bits out, rinse it out with water, and then spray chlorhexadine in the cage. I always let it sit a little bit. Then I rinse it again, put in the new substrate, make sure all the wood is dry, and return everything.

Water bowls are disinfected with bleach.
