I use any plastic container that I can find that mp BP would fit snugly into, then solder a hole in the side. :D tada!

I just made a couple this afternoon out of chinese food takeout boxes (the plastic kind, not the folding paper kind)

I use opaque plastic, clear just kind of defeats the purpose of a "hide"

I've used everything from blue plastic cereal bowls from the dollar store, to plastic flowerpots to large, heavy rubber dog food dishes. As long as it fits your snake, it's easy to clean (they will toilet inside their hide) and it gives the snake a dark place to retreat to - it's all good.

I went to wallmart in the pet section and bought a bunch of the mini cat litter boxes. think they were $1.97 each. I bought all they had and they make great cheap hides.

My adults use the above mentioned small cat litter pans, and my babies and juveniles use kitchen drawer inserts.
