    All right, I need some advice. As I've been sitting here, drooling over Dumeril's boas on kingsnake, someone in my area posts this ad:

    I originally emailed him to ask how much he would take for just the snake, since his set-up didn't sound all that great. He wanted $250, which I thought was high, so I said no thanks. Tonight, he emailed me to say that if I was still interested, he'd take $200, tank included. Is this a good deal?

    And aren't DBs supposed to be larger than this at five years old?

    He feeds it mice- wonder how many and how often? I know Dumerils are a slower growing snake but mine is much bigger at 3 years old than his is and her first owners hardly fed her. I am always very cautious on Craigslist. You should be able to find a Dumerils from a reputable breeder for less.
