Speaking of pelleted litters
During my research I read where the rat lady recommended using rabbit food aka alfalfa pellets for rat litter. She acutally said to use a layer under the other litter as it helps with odor and absorbs well too.
I know I used to use it for cat litter and it worked nicely. Now I use chicken scratch and the cats seem to like the texture better. Works Wonderful as a clumping litter too.
Anyway since pelleted litter was brought up I thought I would share.
Talk to you all later

Re: Speaking of pelleted litters
For my cats I use white crystal litter. You can't smell it and it lasts longer and is low tracking. The rabbets get corn cob, the rats ASF,mice get aspen, my other beasts mainly have eco earth. I don't see how rabbet pellets really would worlk though I use lots of hay for my rabbits and that seems to help.
