    Do you have a plan?
We had a bad storm hit here last night and we werr having power surges and some places lost power. I was just curious if people had a back up plan if the power ever goes out since we rely a lot on the electricity to keep snakes. What is your plan? What about for other natural disasters like fires and such? I have one for the dogs and such but now with the snake I am not sure how I would handle things! It would be great to hear other people's plans!

for power outages, i use the disposable heat packs they work great. never really even thought about a fire, maybe push the rack out of the second story window?

battery backups can last a long time if you get a decent one.

I really feel bad for guys living in the colder areas, being in FL I only have to worry about hurricanes, we have a generator, but I should have a readiness plan together for when I move back to the NC mountains

The lowest temperature in room where I have my BP is 74°F/23°C (winter time, in the night). So I'm not much afraid of electricity loss...

Our back up plan for power outages is heat packs for now, we are getting a generator.

For buggin' out we have tubs with lids that have holes drilled in them and several pillow cases to put the snakes in.
