    Cameroon Scammers
I was wondering if anyone knows if there is somewhere we can report these guys to? Can anything be done about all these idiots trying to pull fast ones. I had someone trying to sell me a $140 pied ball python that is 24 months old, 127 grams, 3 feet long and feeding on adult rats. All she would need is my address and some money for shipping. I replied to her telling her to do some research before she pulls a scam or else she ends up looking like an idiot. Anyways, is there anyone we can send these email addresses/phone numbers/addresses to that we can get something done about these people?

Kevin, I'm pretty sure this is already being discussed in a thread on the General Herp forum.

If you have all the emails saved, you can file a case with the Feds. It is a federal offense and international trade is covered by the feds as well. Although, I wouldn't know how to do this. Great help I am here. Hah! I got one of these scambags trying to pull a fast on me too. Had an ad at Kiiji for pieds for $400 each but you have to buy in bulk (at least 10). That would have been a $4,000 take home pay for the idiots. Yeah, I'd love to shut down these suckers too. But, chances are, 500 people are already trying...

Just spread the word or take legal action.

You can list them on various sites including Fauna Classifieds with the BOI.

I always lead them on, sometimes several times a day back and forth for months at a time. I use to have an entertainment website that had a section dedicated to the conversations and their stupidity. I had a lot of free time at my old job so I figured that if they were spending so much time on me they wouldn't have as much time to scam other people. I once took on the persona of Andy Garcia in Ocean's 11, and sent the dude pictures of Andy and Courtney Cox, my wife. Over a 2 month period the scammer sent me official looking bank documents, certificates and even racy pictures of his wife in exchange for pictures of my wife, Courtney Cox and her sister Heather Grahm as Roller Girl. I even had some of them meet me at airports for flights I obviously wasn't on. :gj:
