    Weanlings pan size?
Hi all needed to ask one more question about pans.

What size pans do you use for the babies when you take them away from mom cause I wasn't sure if they were to small to be able to get food and water from a cement pan rack or for that matter the jumbo litter pan racks.

I need to make sure I get all the pan sizes right before hubby starts building these things for me .

Thanks all I really really appreciate all the wonderful info you guys are giving me.
    Talk to you all later

Grow up bins are typically very big, since you can put a bunch of weaners in together from multiple females. If you are feeding from hardware cloth on the top, and the tub is more than maybe 6 inches high, you can just throw a block of wood or an upside down food dish in the tub for them to use as a platform. Weaned rats are not exactly small, if you don't have experience breeding yet, you will see what I mean.
