    So I have been reading and I am getting very varied info on blood python humidity levels from 50-60% all the way to 85-90% what do you keep your bloods at what substrate do you use and how do you keep your humidity up

    same thing happened to me, but after Talking with Kara from bloodpythons.com I left humidity at 55 to 70%, mostly huber around 63%, temps are 78 to 82 no hot spot for now, sub, is first news paper toped with cipres mulch to help with humidity, plus he loves to get under it.:gj:

    I keep all mine at 60 to 65%. They're kept on indented kraft paper with a relatively large water bowl for humidity, ~9inch diameter. A bowl that big is plenty for a 4 x 2 x 15 inch tall cage.
