Re: new snake recommendation
For "smaller" snakes, my favs are corns, western hognoses, and of course ball pythons.
My favs are some of the bigger/heftier snakes though, but I understand the size issue. I'm not able to house larger snakes right now, so no big boas/bloods/carpet pythons.
Re: new snake recommendation
Another ball python! :D Come on....lol :rolleye2:
Corns are cool. :gj:
Re: new snake recommendation
You also might like a smaller boa; for example, a hog island boa.
Re: new snake recommendation
Get another ball and breed em! :)

I think that it'd be worth it for you to look into a King Snake. I have a California King and he's absolutely amazing! Very fun snakes.
Re: new snake recommendation
I'll second the vote for a hognose. There is a LOT of personality packed into those little guys, plus they're just so darned cute.
Re: new snake recommendation
Get a boa constrictor.
a male.They won't get that big.
And if they do, they will take a long time to reach that adult size. You'd probably have tons of snakes by then including Burms :D
At least that's what happened to me.
Re: new snake recommendation
IJ carpets don't get very large, 4-6 feet is average with 6 feet I believe being a little big...
Re: new snake recommendation
what about a rubber boa? I have heard about them, anyone know anything about them or have one?
