    Quick Question
I have seen the word "Het" used alot on the board when people are talking about their snakes. Forgive me for not knowing but I am pretty new to the snake world and I have lots to learn.

We have to start some where right ;)

    Re: Quick Question
Het is a short form of the word heterozygous. This is a genetic term that describes having two different forms/alleles of a specific gene. For example, a normal female is NN and is crossed with an albino, aa. The offspring would all be Na, and appear normal since albino is a recessive trait.

this is taken from the faq in the morphs section.

haha beat me to it judy.

Well, since you're new here, I'll let you in on the secret. JLC keeps track of how quickly we respons with the correct infomation and assigns points, so it's kind of like a race. At the end of the year, all the points are tallied up, and if you win, arrangements are then made for you to recieve a new baby Ball Python. Keep this on the down low.....really.
